Nicole Asava (she/her/they/them) is an actor, director, improviser, and teacher with over 20 years of experience performing and improvising. Nicole’s been featured on HBO’s Barry, The Undoing, Loot, Younger, and The Break with Michelle Wolf, usually playing a masterful waiter or eccentric front desk staff.
In the digital world Nicole has written and performed in a wide array of videos, working with such platforms as Elite Daily, Betches, MTV, College Humor, and Funny or Die. Nicole was in the NBC/UCB 2016 Comedy Showcase, the 2021 CBS Showcase, and studied comedy at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), and Second City in Chicago.
The past two years Nicole has performed sold out improvisation shows at The Kennedy Center with her beloved comedy group Asian AF. Today you can see Nicole performing all over NYC, with Asian AF at UCB, with UCB Touring Company, and really anywhere they can play and dance.
